The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has called on Ghanaians to support his bid in the December 7 presidential election, pledging to deliver transformative leadership and restore hope to the nation.
Speaking to a massive crowd at the NDC’s final rally held at Zurak Park in Madina on Thursday, December 5, Mahama outlined his vision for a prosperous and unified Ghana. He assured voters of his commitment to prioritizing development, unity, and the welfare of all citizens.
“Vote for John Dramani Mahama, and I will make you all proud of the Ghana we will build together,” he affirmed, drawing cheers from the enthusiastic crowd.
A Crucial Moment for Change
Mahama described the upcoming election as a pivotal moment for Ghana, urging voters to embrace the opportunity for meaningful change. He expressed confidence in his leadership to steer the country towards economic transformation and social progress.
“This election is a turning point. Let us choose hope, unity, and a brighter future by voting for the NDC,” he declared.
Pledge for Transparency
Addressing concerns about electoral integrity, Mahama called on security services and election officials to ensure a free, fair, and transparent voting process. He cautioned against any attempts to compromise the credibility of the elections, warning that such actions could harm Ghana’s democratic foundations.
“I urge the NPP administration and our security services to fulfill their responsibilities to the people of Ghana. Resist any unlawful acts that could undermine the fairness of this election,” he emphasized.
A Call to Action
As the election day approaches, Mahama encouraged all eligible voters to turn out in large numbers and cast their ballots for the NDC. He expressed confidence that their collective support would pave the way for a brighter and more prosperous Ghana.
“Together, we can build a nation we can all be proud of. Vote massively for the NDC, and let’s create a better future for ourselves and generations to come,” Mahama concluded.
The rally, a culmination of months of intense campaigning, was attended by key NDC leaders, party faithful, and a sea of supporters united in their call for change.
