UniMAC SRC External Affairs Officer Secures Strategic Partnership with Saint Philip Enterprise

In a strategic move to expand professional horizons for the student body, the External Affairs Officer of the University of Media, Arts and Communication (UniMAC) SRC, Alex Kobina Stonne, led a high-level delegation to Saint Philip Enterprise in Accra Central this week.

The visit, which included key members from the Sponsorship & Partnerships and Strategic Development committees, focused on securing sustainable corporate alliances and exploring collaborative models for upcoming student-centered initiatives.

Beyond Courtesy Calls

The engagement is part of a broader mandate by the External Affairs Office to bridge the gap between academia and the corporate world. Speaking after the session, Mr. Stonne emphasized that these meetings are designed to yield tangible results rather than mere formalities.

“We are not just paying courtesy calls,” Stonne stated. “We are building long-term institutional relationships that will create real opportunities for UniMAC students. Our focus is to ensure every partnership translates into measurable impact.”

Strengthening Institutional Ties

The discussions centered on creating a roadmap for corporate involvement in university activities, ensuring that UniMAC is strategically positioned within Ghana’s competitive corporate landscape.

As a gesture of goodwill and appreciation for his continued support, the delegation presented a framed portrait to Mr. Philip Danguah, Chief Executive of Saint Philip Enterprise, in honor of his birthday celebrated on February 21.

Looking Ahead

The meeting concluded with a shared sense of optimism, with both parties expressing a commitment to formalizing a partnership in the coming weeks. This visit marks the latest in a series of intensified corporate engagements by the SRC to extend UniMAC’s influence and footprint beyond the campus walls.
