Veteran Kumawood actor Akwasi Boadi, popularly known as Akrobeto, has opened up about his distinctive looks and his signature large nose, sharing his humorous take on both in a recent interview on Adom FM’s drive time show, Ofie Kwanso. At nearly 62 years old, Akrobeto proudly declared that he still considers himself attractive, crediting his youthful appearance to a relaxed mindset and a low-stress lifestyle.
“I’ll be 62 on November 18,” he said. “I am very handsome because I don’t stress or worry too much. I only focus on what I can handle.”
Akrobeto went on to playfully address those who tease him about his nose, sharing that he sometimes “curses” them in jest to put an end to the jabs. Despite occasional teasing, the Real News host often encounters fans who can’t resist complimenting his looks—or even attempting to touch his nose.
When asked about comparisons to media personality Kobby Stonne, he joked that his nose is actually smaller. He recalled a light-hearted moment from a film set with Kobby Stonne, explaining why he’s never had a blocked nose.
“To be honest, I’ve never had a cold because there’s plenty of space in my nose. I’m free-to-air,” he quipped.
Akrobeto’s humor and laid-back outlook continue to charm fans and maintain his status as one of Ghana’s beloved personalities, both on and off the screen.
