Ghanaian filmmaker Mark Cofie Jnr.’s acclaimed film, The Rise of a Warrior Hunter, has soared to international audiences, now available on United Airlines flights as of November 1.
After its highly praised premiere in March and strong reception on the international circuit, The Rise of a Warrior Hunter has quickly emerged as one of Ghana’s standout films of the year.
Director Mark Cofie Jnr. attributes the film’s success to the dedication of his team. “Seeing Detor reach this milestone is rewarding,” he said. “Hard work truly pays off, and having the right team is essential. I’m grateful for the selfless efforts of our crew and cast.”
The film brings Ewe folklore to life, following the epic journey of Detor, his twin sons Atsu Tsaala and Etse Tsaali, and the migration from Ngotsie to modern settlements. Its rich cultural narrative and dynamic storytelling have struck a chord with audiences worldwide.
Now, United Airlines passengers can experience Detor’s adventure and legacy right from their seats, further showcasing Ghana’s cinematic artistry on a global stage.
