{"id":870,"date":"2024-11-06T09:49:03","date_gmt":"2024-11-06T09:49:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/winsmediagh.com\/?p=870"},"modified":"2024-11-06T09:49:42","modified_gmt":"2024-11-06T09:49:42","slug":"man-sentenced-to-life-in-prison-for-murdering-girlfriend-and-daughter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/winsmediagh.com\/?p=870","title":{"rendered":"Man Sentenced to Life in Prison for Murdering Girlfriend and Daughter"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A Burkinabe national, Boigouna Aloys, has been sentenced to life imprisonment by the High Court in Accra for the murder of his German girlfriend, Claudia Weizmann, and her 13-year-old daughter at Kokrobite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 47-year-old was convicted on two counts of murder following a trial in which the prosecution, led by Yvonne Yaache-Adomako, presented testimonies from five witnesses. A seven-member jury found Aloys guilty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aloys was arrested on October 8, 2020, after secretly killing and burying his 53-year-old girlfriend and her daughter in a wooded area near their residence. The police became involved after neighbors reported the sudden disappearance of Aloys and the two victims.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Upon investigation, it was revealed that Aloys had a dispute with his girlfriend, during which he struck her on the head with a hammer.
