The project, organized in collaboration with American photographer and ecotourism expert Thomas Appleton Lamb, combines their shared vision of driving development through photography. It follows previous exhibitions held in California, USA, and Accra earlier this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Featuring themes such as eco-tourism, rites of passage, traditional music and dance, and political unity, the exhibition offers a profound narrative on West Africa’s cultural legacy and the origins of the transatlantic slave trade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hosted at the Moree Event Centre Complex, the exhibition will remain open until December 2025, providing visitors with a unique opportunity to explore Ghana\u2019s rich history, culture, and people through the lenses of two seasoned photographers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The event also marked the launch of the Kownkwetsia Foundation, a non-governmental organization founded by Mr. Fynn to empower youth through professional skills training, including photography. The foundation aims to promote Ghanaian history and arts while fostering community and economic development in Moree and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Mr. Fynn emphasized the importance of photography in promoting tourism and urged Ghanaian authorities to prioritize visual storytelling to attract global visitors.
