A tragic incident unfolded at a filling station in Dormabin, located in the Krachi East Municipality of the Oti Region, when armed robbers opened fire, resulting in the death of one person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the Ghana News Agency (GNA), the victim, Isaac Dampoki, had visited the station to purchase fuel when the robbers, armed with firearms, stormed the premises and began shooting indiscriminately. Dampoki was struck by the gunfire and critically injured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The robbers, after the shooting, made off with GH\u00a29,000 in cash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Israel Asiedu, a resident of Dormabin, spoke to the GNA, revealing that the victim was immediately rushed to a CHPS compound for treatment. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was transferred to the WoraWora Government Hospital. Unfortunately, Isaac Dampoki passed away from his injuries while in transit, being pronounced dead at Asukawkaw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In response to the crime, the Dambai Police Command has increased security in the area and launched an investigation to track down the perpetrators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
