The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has advised customers using Nuri Prepaid Meters to top up their meter credits to last at least one month. This precautionary measure aims to prevent vending disruptions during an ongoing upgrade of the Standard Transfer Specifications (STS) metering systems, including the Nuri Prepayment system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a statement issued on Saturday, November 23, 2024, ECG emphasized the critical importance of the upgrade, which is intended to ensure continuous vending services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis is a crucially mandatory STS upgrade designed to ensure uninterrupted vending service,\u201d the statement read, urging customers to cooperate by purchasing sufficient credit in advance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
