It is expected to significantly enhance traffic flow in densely populated areas such as Cantonments, Burma Camp, East Legon, and Spintex, reducing travel times for commuters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Despite these benefits, James Amoo Gottfried, Director of Urban Roads, has cautioned that the interchange alone may not completely eliminate congestion in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/winsmediagh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/AMOO-URBAN.mp3\"><\/audio><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe foresee that while the interchange will improve efficiency, congestion will still occur, especially near Cantonments and the Giffard Road Interchange,\u201d Mr. Gottfried noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To address these challenges, plans are underway to introduce new exits and traffic dispersal routes to accommodate increased vehicle volumes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAt the ground level of the overpass, we are preparing to create another exit into Cantonments to ease traffic flow. Most vehicles approaching the Giffard Road Interchange tend to turn right, loop around, and head left into Cantonments.
