These allegations eventually led to his resignation from the board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Confirming the destoolment in an interview with Citi FM, the Kwahumanhemaa, Nana Adwoa Gyamfuah II, stated that the former chief\u2019s actions had tarnished the reputation of the Kwahu Traditional Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe have destooled Eugene Kwasi Boadi Asante, known as Daasebre Akuamoah Agyepong II. The traditional council frowns upon chiefs who fail to rule with integrity. His actions have caused significant reputational damage to Kwahuman, and he can no longer serve as Kwahumanhene,\u201d Nana Adwoa Gyamfuah II declared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Process of Enstooling a New Kwahumanhene<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Kwahumanhemaa outlined the next steps in selecting a new chief, emphasizing adherence to Akan tradition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIn Akan culture, the queen mother enstools a new chief in consultation with the Kingmakers when the position becomes vacant. The same process applies when a queen mother passes on, with the chief and Kingmakers enstooling her replacement,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The council is currently preparing to enstool a new Kwahumanhene to ensure continuity in leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Interim Leadership<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the interim, Nana Asiedu Agyemang III, the Abetifihene, has been appointed acting president of the Kwahu Traditional Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe traditional council convened on Wednesday, November 13, with all 20 chiefs and queen mothers present to form a quorum. The decision to destool Daasebre Akuamoah Agyepong II was unanimous.
