Former President John Agyekum Kufuor has called on Ghanaians to actively participate in the upcoming elections, cautioning against voter apathy and its potential consequences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In an interaction with selected journalists, Mr. Kufuor highlighted the critical role of each vote in shaping the country’s future. He emphasized that abstaining from voting could allow others to make decisions that might not align with the abstainers\u2019 vision for Ghana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The former President urged citizens not to let internal party disagreements or dissatisfaction discourage them from fulfilling their democratic duty. He stressed that democracy flourishes when citizens actively engage in the electoral process, and their collective choices determine the nation’s direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhen it\u2019s time for elections, and because of some party rift, people decide not to vote, it\u2019s a challenge,\u201d Mr. Kufuor remarked. \u201cIf you don\u2019t vote, others will, and they may not vote to support your party\u2019s vision.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
