The Electoral Commission (EC) has announced that any votes cast for Akua Donkor, the candidate of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), in the upcoming December polls will be invalid and annulled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dr. Bossman Asare, the EC’s Deputy Chairman in charge of Corporate Services, clarified this during an appearance on JoyNews\u2019 Newsfile<\/em> on Saturday, November 16.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He explained that while Akua Donkor’s name and image will remain on the presidential ballot due to procedural reasons, votes for her will not count. “Now we know we have 12 candidates, so any vote for Akua Donkor would be annulled.
