Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu is set to call for an immediate ceasefire and a peaceful resolution to the Israel-Palestinian conflict at the upcoming Arab-Islamic summit in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, his office announced on Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tinubu\u2019s administration will also push for renewed efforts to revive the two-state solution, which they view as crucial for achieving lasting peace in the region, according to presidential spokesperson Bayo Onanuga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The annual summit, which begins on November 11, has been convened by King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia. As a member of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, Nigeria is invited to attend the summit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
